I'm is a lino/woodcut-focused artist living in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2005 with a BFA in Printmaking.  After graduating, I worked in the San Francisco Bay Area as an art director for a museum dedicated to the bizarre.  In 2010 I moved to Colorado to pursue teaching.

Wood and linocut are my preferred medium for its graphic and expressive qualities.  My style is heavily influenced by childhood comic reading.  This is evident in a tendency to combine words and pictures that help convey a story.

In my current project, Strange Steamboat, I look to join local history with pop culture, and myths from around the world.   Steamboat has a strong identity of cowboys, sports and nature.  This project infuses those themes with the odd, such as robots, monsters, and mythical creatures.
